Born in Scotland, Susie Cowie studied at the Glasgow School of Art, specialising in embroidery. She then moved to London and began her career designing prints and embroideries for film and interiors, as well as a number of clients in the fashion industry, including Margaret Howell, Couverture, Big Active, Gap and Calvin Klein. 

In 2012, she moved to New York and continued to work in print, trend and concept design for commercial giants American Eagle and Victoria’s Secret, before returning to London in 2016 to begin building the concept for her brand. With a wealth of experience gained from numerous collaborations across the fashion industry, Susie was able to fulfil her lifelong ambition to modernise the traditional facets of embroidery and create contemporary pieces using the finest materials and unparalleled craftsmanship.

Susie’s recent work has garnered acclaim, with features in prestigious publications such as Vogue UK, Vogue Spain, and Vogue Australia. Her collaborations span a variety of mediums, including bespoke pieces with Cou Cou intimates worn by Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber which has since scaled to their retail offering, live embroidery experiences with Miu Miu, tableware with Atelier LK inspired by Ron Hitchens Hackney home for Tiwa Select's exhibition, The North American Pavilion, and partnerships with notable names like Aesop, Lucy Williams, and Joan The Store, creating garments, embellishments, illustrations and large scale bespoke works.
